Jubilee High School (JHS) and Chertsey High School (CHS) are Secondary Schools local to Stepgates Community School.

JHS is located in School Lane, Addlestone and (CHS) is located in Chertsey Road, Addlestone.

We have been strengthening our relationship with both schools and we are all working together to enhance the 'transition' experience of our Year 6 pupils when transferring from Junior to Senior school.

Some of the measures we have put in place to help our children with this process includes;

1. Visits to JHS and CHS during Year 6 which helps to familiarize them with their new surroundings and new classes, it also gives them the opportunity to meet their new teachers and fellow classmates from other schools.
2. Visits from JHS teachers to Stepgates to meet our children in familiar surroundings
3. Collaboration between our Year 6 teacher and Year 7 teachers at JHS and CHS

While the majority of our Year 6 children move up to senior school at either Jubilee High School or more recently Chertsey High School we also have children who transfer to the following schools.
