Welcome to Busy Bees Class

Busy Bees is the Early Years (Reception) and Key Stage 1 COIN class.

Each morning, the Busy Bees children will be in the COIN setting, completing their learning, which is interwoven with the immersion of their specific and personalised targets, alongside their holistic development. We complete our learning in a smaller group setting and use adaptive teaching techniques to help meet the children’s specific needs. The children will spend each afternoon in their mainstream classes; learning and playing alongside their friends. 

Busy Bees has one class teacher every morning, Mrs Conn, and three Learning Support Assistants: Mrs Ayres, Mrs Coombes and Miss Wade.

We work very closely with the Speech and Language Team in school - (Katie, Sindy and Kathryn) who support our children in school for their therapy sessions, which staff then develop through additional intervention.   

Our whole curriculum is based around communication, interaction, attention and listening and language skills, and we ensure fun is at the heart of everything we do to keep the children engaged and inspired!
