ERPSSA Dance Festival and ‘It’s A Fish Out' Competition
Stepgates are delighted to announce two fantastic achievements over recent weeks.
Congratulations to our Dance Crew who were First Place in the ERPSSA Dance Festival on 7th March, at Notre Dame School.
As the theme for this competition was ‘Change’, the Dance Crew decided their dance would be about climate change; their dance was to Right Here, Right Now and was based on Greta Thunberg’s ”How Dare You” speech.
Congratulations must also go to our Swim Team who took part in ‘It’s A Fish Out’ Competition on 9th March at Dorking Leisure Centre. Stepgates entered this annual lifesaving competition run by Surrey Schools Swimming Association for the very first time, and were delighted to win the ‘Newcomer’s Trophy’.
Well done to all the children from the Dance Crew and the Swim Team who took part. What a fabulous achievement!
