The children were phenomenal during Themed Week (week beginning 26th January 2026), which began with Stepgates being transformed into an airport and aeroplane. The children excitedly moved through security, collecting their boarding cards and passports, before boarding flight SG067.

Stepgates Community School volunteered to help make pom poms to decorate the Chertsey Community Christmas tree at St Peter's Church.
Thanks to the continuing generosity of our Stepgates parents/carers, I am delighted to let you know we were able to donate 123 advent calendars to Runnymede Foodbank.
The Ladybirds, Butterflies and Grasshoppers children were kindly invited to take part in a live Nativity experience at St Anne's Catholic Primary School on Monday, 24th November.

On Monday 10th November 2025, to kick-start Anti-Bullying week, children came to school in odd socks to celebrate that we are all different and unique.
A huge thank you to all parents/carers for their generous donations of tins and non-perishables. The children enjoyed watching our display grow! These will be donated to Runnymede Foodbank, who provide food packs together with help and support for many families in our local community.
On Friday 26th September 2025 all parents/carers and younger siblings were invited to join us for our Macmillan Coffee Afternoon.
On Thursday 18th September we had a very successful whole school trip (Years 1-6) to Bocketts Farm. The children had the opportunity to explore the animal farm and had lots of fun on the tractor ride.
