Hawks at Forest Schools

Hawks enjoyed their Forest School sessions in the Spring term. The children in Hawks enjoyed climbing the trees and learning knots to fix the ropes safely. We group also enjoyed 'The Hole',  the large digging area that groups have created over the years. The children used their imagination to create different structures around it and dug for treasure! Some used tools to help take off some smaller branches of the recently felled Chestnut tree, using team work and communication to ensure this was done safely. We also put up the Wildlife camera, as we recognised that there was evidence of animals digging close to the Forest Schools site. We captured some great images of badgers, foxes and deer- it was brilliant!
